First-person animation,
without the grind.

FrameSolo is an AI-powered first-person animation tool for hand and weapon animation. Built for indie game developers and animators shipping to Unreal Engine.

The FrameSolo editor working on a tactical reload: the first-person camera shows a mannequin hand holding a textured AKM rifle with a motion trail. The outliner lists hand IK controls, the rifle parts such as magazine, bolt and dust cover, and a spare and a discarded magazine. A densely keyed dope sheet with tracks for the rifle, bolt, magazine and left arm runs along the bottom, with event markers for the magazine change.

Built for reloads, inspects and everything in between

  • Hands and weapon, keyed together

Hand IK, elbows and camera sit next to the weapon's own parts: magazine, bolt, trigger, selector and dust cover. Spare and discarded magazines are scene objects, ready for a reload.

  • Grips that stay put

Bind each hand to the interaction object from its current pose, switch spaces without losing the pose, and shape the grip with finger poses and contact checks.

  • Timing you can see

Dope sheet, curve editor and timeline events such as magazine out and insert. In-betweens, motion trails and onion-skin ghosts, all checked through the first-person camera.

FrameSolo in perspective view: the full first-person arm rig with IK chains and finger joints grips a blocked-out rifle inside the interaction object bounds, with hand contact settings in the details panel.

Made for first-person, not adapted to it

FrameSolo is built around the first-person view: the player camera, two hands and the object they hold.

Unreal Engine is the first target. It is made for solo developers and small teams who need FPS weapon animations like reloads and inspects.
